{What's goin on...}

Lots has been going on. I have no time to post more pictures, but i will when we get to Texas. We are in Idaho with Shane's family having lots of fun. We went to Logan to spend time with shane's siblings and all the cousins for gavin and tanner. We loved it.
We have been running a lot. We are big time runner's now. I would say. Shane too. He is lookin Gooooooood!!! :) haha. I ran my first 5k since before i got pregnant. I ran it in 24:06. I am proud of myself. Tomorrow we are all running in a 40 mile relay where we each run a 5 mile leg. We have all been looking forward to this for a year.

The kids have been playing out in the pool and jumping on the trampoline and running amoch.

We all got the flu...well, except for me. How i missed getting it i don't know. Jaydon got it Sunday afternoon and was puking every 15 minutes for 6-7 hours. It was horrible. Then Gavin woke up at midnight. He had puked all over his bed. Tanner woke up an hour later needing to puke. At one point they were both over the toilet at the same time puking together. Gavin puked every 20 minutes for 12 hours. He got it the worst. I have never seen a bug so bad in my life. Shane got the chills, fever, and aches. I didn't get it, but i have felt pretty off for about 5 days. Everyone got it in different ways...puking, fever, etc. We are glad that is over with.

Tanner said to me oned day..."Where is it that we are going?" I said, "Texas." He said, "Do they have tomatoes there?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Aaahh, i don't want to go there anymore." I said, "why?" He said, "Because the tomatoes will blow us away." It was so funny. He meant to say tornadoes, but it came out "tomatoes".

Jaydon is walking so good. He is starting to get around really well. He likes to practice a lot by walking back and forth from one person to the other. But now he is just taking off on his own walking to wherever he feels like.

I don't know if i posted this yet or not. BUT we finally found a home in Texas. AND it's a 4 bedroom, 2 bath. 4 bedroom homes are hard to come by in that area....for a good price. But this one popped up and we love it and the area it's in. The one thing i am excited about is the kitchen. It's big. :)

Well, i also had my birthday, so i am officially 29 yrs. old, but i definitely don't feel like it. So, that is good.

We are heading out on a road trip on July 4th. We are driving from idaho to texas. That will be INTERESTING. All i can say is that we will be so ready to get out of the car when we get there. Gavin is good to travel with, BUT Tanner and the baby aren't so great. They whine a lot b/c they just want out of the car. And Tanner gets car sick so we will be keeping dramamine down him the whole time.

I have been having lots of fun with family, but will be excited to be settled in our home in Texas and get back into my mommy routine. We have been with family since May 12th....so we have definitely been having tons of fun and doing lots of things. The weekend over the 4th we are going to Bear Lake. That Lake is the most beautiful lake i have been to, so we are excited. If you haven't been...well, the water is clear blue. It makes me feel like i am as close to the caribbean as i can get. :) And coming from Lake Erie it's a HUGE difference. Here in Idaho they do fireworks on July 3rd, and July 4th, depending on the area you live in. Plus, we will get to see some in Colorado since we are leaving on the 4th.
Wish us luck!

Minnesota Adventures...

So, the day after graduation all three boys took off in the car with papa and zsa zsa to head to minnesota where they live. That same day shane and i and his family all head out to Niagara Falls and then to Palmyra where we stayed in a big home right on Seneca Lake for three nights. No kids. It was tons of fun. We went and saw all the church history sights and just had fun together. We loved being able to be just us without worrying about little kiddos.

One week and 1 day after graduation the movers came to our home and packed us all up. It took them 2 days and when they left on that second day shane and i cleaned up, said our last goodbyes to cleveland and drove to minnesota. We arrived at my parents house on Thursday morning. We were sooooooo excited to see our boys. It was so good to be back with them again. Zsa Zsa and papa kept them very busy while they were there without us. They went fishing, went to the park, went on lots of bike rides, played out in the yard with the dogs, played on the slip n slide, painted bird houses, etc. They had lots of fun. The boys would dig up there own worms with papa. Then papa hooked on a little trailer on the back of his riding lawnmower, put the boys in that trailer and rode the mower down the street to a natural spring where they would fish. They love fishing now. I can't say thanks enough to my parents for keeping them safe, keeping them busy and happy, and spoiling them and loving them. Thank you!

So, after we got there here are some things we have been doing that i have taken pictures of...
Here we were at the Memorial Day Parade in Austin, MN.

Here are all three boys bathing together. Boy does Jaydon LOVE getting in the bathtub. It is hilarious watching him.
Papa had lots of fun taking Gavin to the store and buying him a bike and helmet so he could ride around. He LOVES his new bike and helmet. He flies on that thing! It made me realize that something is wrong with the bike we have for him b/c he has such a hard time peddling the one we bought him. This one is so much easier for him.
Enjoying a popsicle out in the hot hot sun.
Slip n slide...Tanner is always trying to drink the water. He is very different from Gavin.

More slip n slide.

I still have so many more pics to post of other things we have been doing as well. I will get them up soon. I love it here. It is so pretty and we are sort of out in the country. It is so peaceful and relaxing. We watch deer everyday. There is a little fawn that was just born and we have seen it a few times. It is so darn tiny and cute. The doe has tried attacking our cat and dogs b/c they must get close to where she keeps her fawn and so she attacks. It is hilarious and entertaining. We can hear owls in the morning and night. My parents also have bird feeders out back and we get to see all kinds of different birds...swallows, robins, orioles, humming birds, etc. It is really cool. I so want to live out in the country like this one day. The only thing they are missing is a garden! I want a garden. :) Shane and I have been running a lot. We love being able to run TOGETHER. All summer we get to run together! I will be sad when he has to go back to work. The boys like to run now. I went for a run with them the other day and Tanner doesn't like to go on bike rides...so when my dad and gavin ride their bikes Tanner just wants to run. It is so cute. He is getting faster than he used to be. They also like to go downstairs and workout. They came upstairs today and told me that they "had a good workout". Gavin told me that he went 1000 miles on the elliptical. I love it.
Shane is leaving on Monday to drive to Idaho. Gavin is going to ride with him. Tuesday i am flying to SLC with Jaydon and Tanner. Shane is going to pick us up at the airport and then we are heading up to his parents house and then our next adventure begins! This summer is full of exciting things and it is already going by so fast.
To be continued...

Jaydon is ONE!!!

I wish i could photoshop these and make them look better! I can't right now though. Anyway, here are pics of Jaydon on his first Birthday eating his cake and a picture i took of him outside on his Birthday.

He ate his cake very delicately. He didn't DIG into it, but instead he used his two fingers and carefully picked small pieces and put it in his mouth. He loved it.

Jaydon turned ONE year old on June 1st! I can't believe it! My sweet baby Jaydon is one and sweet he is. :) We all LOVE this boy to death. He is so much fun and makes us laugh so much. He has LOTS of character! TONS! Here are a few things about our Baby Jaydon...

1.He says, "Mama"
2. He says "hi"
3.He waves bye bye, sometimes with both hands!
4.He LOVES bananas!!! He pounds a whole one in a minute.
5. He laughs and smiles A LOT.
6.He shakes his head NO.
7. He is drinking real milk now.
8. He eats everything we eat.
9. He LOVES to play with anyone. He just wants to play.
10. He dances! Whenever music is on he bounces up and down to the beat and won't stop. If he is sitting down when the music is on then he will bob his head up and down! :)
11.He has walked 4 steps all by himself.
12. He LOVES his sippy cup.
13.He LOVES the water. He just goes crazy when he is in water. It is so cute!
14. He is very LOUD.
15. He says "night, night".
16.He has 12 teeth in. Crazy!
17. He says "dada".
18. He loves clapping.
19. He is wearing 18-24 month clothes.
20. I don't have his weight and height and won't for awhile, so i will have to measure him on my own.
21. He is CrAzY about FOOD. He loves it, if you can't tell. :) He makes lots of noises when he eats his food.
22. When i feed him something he pulls it out of his mouth, looks at it, and then puts it back in. He does that with almost every bite! It's so funny.

We love our little Jaydon. He sure does keep our home full of life.

Graduation...

So, these pictures are all out of order. I haven't quite figured out how to use a Mac yet, so this is a random post. :) I will just explain everything...

And here is a picture of the whole group. Shane's parents, my parents and sister and brother, his siblings. It was an AWESOME day! AWESOME!
This cake doesn't need any explanation! We were proud of our guy!
PROUD WIFEY. He looked so good all day long and i have never been so PROUD as i was that day!
Walking out of the church after his graduation.
Here's a group of the fam sitting and waiting for the commissioning to start.
Shane and his fellow airmen after being commissioned.
We went to the Convocation for the entire Case University, which included dental, medical, law, etc. students. Katie Couric came and spoke. She did such a good job and i loved being there to watch.
Shane and i and Colonel Wilson, the commander from Wright Patterson AFB.
Here we are eating lunch that the school provided for all of us.

Receiving his Diploma from Dean Goldberg. This was awesome.
Shane is taking his oath of Office.
Walking in for the Convocation Exercise for all of Case Western.

This day was an awesome day. Did i mention it was awesome?! :) Anyway, we enjoyed it thoroughly and wouldn't have changed a thing. It was so great to have all of our family there to support us. We feel so blessed. I was such a proud wife. Soooooo proud. I can't say it enough. He worked sooooo freakin hard for 4 years. I was on the verge of tears all day and couldn't stop smiling. I have soooooo much more to post. More is coming soon.

{What's goin on...}

Well, a quick post...my family has arrived. We are having fun together. I still have lots to do before everyone else gets here. It's crazy, but exciting! I found my dress for graduation. I had to get a new dress....the wife of the Graduate. Of course. I found one that i fell in love with , but it was way expensive(i hate when that happens)....so i went for one that was my second pick. And it was about 65% off the original price. Awesome is all i can say. I can't wait to celebrate! We are getting close to picking our home and finalizing one that we will rent down in Texas. I can't wait to head down there. I found out that the base has three swimming pools, so we will be there everyday in July and August and September. We are living across from the base, which is only about a 5 minute or less drive. If we get the house we are planning on then we will live three blocks from the elementary school. That means i can walk Gavin to school everyday. And we live close to a few playgrounds. I am excited.
The boys are just surprising me everyday with how much they are growing up. Time is going by too fast. Jaydon has tons of teeth coming in. He has two molars coming in. He has three bottom teeth and four top teeth that are in fully. I think there are more coming in at the same time as the molars b/c i know i have seen the little white buds. That explains all his fussiness. He is a riot! That is for sure. He has a strong personality.
Anyway, things are good. There is no time for relaxing around here. It's very GO GO GO. It will slow down in a few weeks. :)
I will post pics in a few weeks after graduation, after our trip with shane's family and after we get to my parents home.

Seriously. Who knew that the most rewarding job ever and the job you love the most could also be one that drives you completely and entirely insane?

{Boys and their sports...this post is more for family}

We went to the park so the boys could play football and baseball. Here is Tanner throwing his football to me. Here is Tanner running to me....

Here is Jaydon sitting in seat we pull behind the bike.

And Gavin playing t-ball.

I realized recently what the rest of my life is going to consist of ....
1. SPORTS. Lots of sports. Lots of going to games. Lots of leisure sporting activity.
2. Cub Scouts and Boy scouts. They will all be in it. It seems like the mom's that have all boys always end up as a scout leader.
3. Lots of gas releasing.
4. Spending LOTS of money on groceries. Boys eat a lot! Especially mine already! I mean, Gavin already eats more than i do! Not kidding at all. I can't imagine how it will be when they get older.
5. Lots of girls calling the house. Honestly, i hope not. But my boys are so cute and have great personalities....how could they not call looking for them? hahaha(i know, a bit braggish) I really hope they will be teenagers like shane was. If they will then we won't have too many problems with girls coming around OFTEN.
6. Lots of testosterone.
The other day all the boys were like "let's go to the park and play ball." I was thinking "ah man....what else can we do?" I just don't get all excited about the sports like shane does with the boys. Then i realized we have boys. The rest of my life is going to consist of lots of sports. I moped for a minute b/c i was like "i want a girl who wants to do girly things with me. Like go shopping, paint nails, sit and chat and watch girly movies, decorate, etc." Well, i realized that won't happen....so i decided to just DEAL with it and learn to love it. They like it and that's what matters. :) So, i need to learn to have fun with it. And i can. I will learn. But i will make them do some things with me every once in awhile that I want to do...hahah...like watch girly movies. I will teach them to learn how girls are and teach them how to treat a lady. :)
BUT believe it or not my dear little boys...i attempted a lot of sports. I played t-ball when i was little. When i got older I was in karate and got my yellow belt with 2 red stripes on it. Your uncle got his Brown belt. Actually , i think both of them did. I was in swimming and swam in competitions (swimming was one of my favorites. i still love it. I just need a pool.). I beat my older brother at the 100 IM. haha. I like to remind him of that when i can. :) Believe it or not...i played basketball in middle school. I liked it a lot. Yup. Bet shane's family didn't know that one! But we stunk so bad and never won one game. I got the clue after that and never played again. Though i did take basketball class after i married shane so that i could get a little better and play with his family. But that never happened. I still stunk at it. :) But i do enjoy it. And when i can't do something the way i picture myself being able to do it i get frustrated and give up sometimes. :) And stay away from it! I took tennis lessons. LOVED tennis and still do. I was in dance. LOVED dance and still love to dance. I was a wrestling cheerleader...hahaha! I will leave it at that! And believe it or not....i like to wrestle. Sometimes it doesn't matter the size...it's the MOVES that get ya. I like to wrestle my husband. I like to try to pin him...show him up. haha! Doesn't happen too often b/c he is a lot bigger and sometimes size DOES matter, such as in this case! :) haha! But i like to surprise him and show him i am tougher than he gives me credit for! :) My brother was a wrestler so he taught me moves and liked to use me as his dummy A LOT growing up. AND i watched a lot of wrestling matches when i cheered for them. It's a tough sport. Your papa seifert was a big time swimmer. He won state competitions in the butterfly stroke...which is the TOUGHEST stroke. When he goes back to his hometown in quincy, illinois they still have pictures of him up on the walls from newspapers showing him as a winner. Cool huh?! We went to baseball games all the time growing up. We had season tickets to watch TU basketball , which i LOVED going to. And now i am a runner. So, i guess sports has been a big part of my life...more than i realize. I CAN do this!

{tHe ThReE StoOgEs}

First let me say this about Gavin...
He came home from preschool today and said to me, "Hey, mom...Avery said that if Talmage won't marry her then she will marry me!" And he was excited. :) haha! I guess i have to teach him a few things. ;)

Next is Jaydon... He LOVES looking out the front window. He stares out the window and bounces up and down, up and down, up and down. He is now crawling the stairs. Good thing we are moving soon. The house we will most likely move into is a one story home, so we won't have to worry about gates! :)

Look at those precious blue curious eyes!

He discovered he likes biting the carpet....? He liked it and thought it was funny. Interesting.
Jaydon has not only mastered climbing the stairs, but he has mastered drinking from a sippy cup, eating real food(he doesn't eat baby food anymore), he can say "mom" and says "bah" when he wants his bottle/milk, and says "da da". It is sweet. And he has mastered BEING REALLY LOUD. He is best at being loud. When he gets in a zone he makes the loudest yelling noises i have ever heard from a child! He is so flipping loud! Not kidding. He has got lots of spunk, lots of personality, an attitude problem, he is very expressive, and boy does he love when you play with him. He gets so excited and loves loves loves to play. I thought my other boys were pretty expressive , but i think he has topped them. He is BUUUSSSYYYYY too. Very busy. Busiest out of all the boys. He just won't stop. Boy is he full of a lot of love too. And when he wants something he lets you know by his LOUD yell. He is sooo loud. And sooooo loveable. I can't imagine what he is going to be like when he starts walking and when he is two!!!
Gavin and Tanner love him to death and Jaydon loves his big brothers a TON! Gavin and Tanner will play hide n seek with Jaydon. They will go hide in the closet and Jaydon see's them go in so he will crawl over and try opening the door(since it isn't closed tight) and then the boys laugh and run to another closet and Jaydon will follow them and open the door and so on. Jaydon LOVES playing with them. I love watching them!
In this picture Tanner is very distressed b/c he can't seem to get his sock on his foot....

I see this face a lot. :) Tanner is such a sweet boy. It is so sweet b/c when the boys say their prayers they always help each other out if the other doesn't know what to say. When gavin says the prayer tanner will help him to remember things to pray for. Like the other night...Gavin was saying the prayers and then he paused, trying to think of something else to say. Tanner leaned over, and whispered to gavin gently, "Bless the scriptures." I love the things they say in prayers. Gavin bore his testimony to us last night. Daddy gave a family home evening lesson on testimonies and at the end of it he asked Gavin if he would bear his testimony to us. He did and i thought it was the sweetest thing ever. I loved it. After our family home evening lesson we watched Alvin and the chipmunks movie, and ate cookies. The boys loved it.
