Our Growing Boys...

So, I have to write about a few new things about Gavin and Tanner. They really love playing together. Gavin still likes to harrass Tanner and tease him when they play, but lately Tanner tries tackling Gavin. They are wrestling around more and more. Tanner loves wrestling more than Gavin likes it. He will go and attack Gavin if he is sitting on the ground.Tanner is starting to talk more. He is saying 1.Nana for banana 2. Basket for Basketball. 3.Ma!!! for mom 4. sick 5. ball 6. no 7. yeah for yes 8. look! 9. milk 10. lunch 11.here 12. holly 13. hat 14. zsa zsa 15. banky for blanket 16.he will repeat just about anything i ask him to say, but only if he is in the right mood. Yes, he is looking more and more like a Seifert and i do see a lot of Stephen in him. :)Gavin is growing. Lauri, i think he did go through a growth spurt. I can tell he has gotten tall and Holly hadn't seem him in a week and a half and when she did see him she could swear that he had grown and looked taller. He is going to be tall just like his daddy. He gets cuter and cuter everyday. He LOVES having someone by his side playing with him constantly. He loves playing with his little brother. He LOVES basketball, but his new love lately is baseball.

Better when we're together...

Here are some pics i haven't been able to post for awhile. One day they were looking out the front door and were having so much fun together. Gavin was making Tanner crack up and Gavin kept gently putting his arm around Tanner. It was so the cutest thing. I don't have time to post too many things right now so i will post more later.

Tanner and his blanky. With this nice weather i let him run around in his diaper, but not for too long b/c he tries pulling his diaper off.

What can i say, my boys love to pose for me...can't ask for more. Well, actually, i have to catch them in the right mood, but when i do it is perfect. I should say "they" are perfect. :)

BaNkY and BrEaKfAsT

I have a lot of journaling to catch up on, so i might be posting everyday, maybe even twice in a day. :) Tanner is so funny. I have to wrap his blanket around the back of his neck when he sits down to eat breakfast. This is what it looks like when he eats breakfast with his banky.

Busy, busy, busy...

This past week Shane's parent's and his brother and wife were here visiting. We had lots of fun together. We went to Palmyra and enjoyed all the beautiful and historical sites there. We also went to Niagara Falls, which is always fun to see no matter how many times i have seen it. We went to the beach and enjoyed our time there eating snacks, playing games, and watching the guys play football. We also spent time around our house enjoying the Wii, taking walks, playing games, chatting, and eating. :) We truly had so much fun. After having my family and his family here for this break we realize how much we miss family and would love to live closer. Here are a lot of pics from this past week. While they were here i ran 2 5 1/2 mile runs with them. Bob(my father-in-law), Ashley(sister-in-law) and Ryan(brother-in-law) are running in a half marathon, except for Ryan who is running the full marathon, and so they are training for it right now. I really enjoyed the runs we went on. We ran over to the Metropark on Green Rd. ...ran down the hill until we found the dirt trail on the other side of the street and ran that. According to them it was about a 5 1/2 mile run. I am ready to take on this run 3 times a week. Soooo, anyone who is a runner and would like to run this with me, PLEASE call!!! It is so much easier to push myself when i have someone there with me. :) It is a beautiful run and it feels GREAT being able to run that long. It has a lot of little hills, but it is fun. I am no running expert and just run at an average pace. I am willing to run at the times that would work best for you. Anyone who has been wanting to get out and run or anyone who has already been running, call me! It will be fun!The Sacred Grove.

We fit all 8 of us in our car for our road trip to Palmyra and Niagara. It was tight, but so much fun! :)

My brother-in-law took this picture of the house we stayed at right on Seneca Lake. We stayed here for one night. It was so beautiful. He took a better picture than i did so i had to use his. :)

For the Beauty of the Earth...

When my parents were here we did some yard work. My dad and I laid down mulch, planted some flowers in our yard and in some pots. Now i don't have to deal with the annoying weeds that grow back in a day after i pick them! This was my first time ever to do my own yard work with my own house. I had tons of fun doing it. I feel so proud of my yard now! :) Thanks dad!

Shane and I and the boys took off Thursday at about 3:00 p.m. and went to Punderson State Park. First i have to mention that the drive was just beautiful. Ohio is beautiful!! The houses and landscape that we saw on our way was just gorgeous and very desirable! Maybe one day. :) We camped there that night and had so much fun. We were just about the only people there, except for some people in a huge motor home. We made tin foil dinners, had S'mores, and just hung out by the fire for awhile. The boys had fun searching for wood for our campfire. At about 9:00 p.m. we went into the tent and watched Narnia. Gavin LOVED that we were all sleeping in the tent together and to top it off, watching a movie together! He loved it. I loved watching his excitement. Tanner got upset when we put him in his pack'n play. He kept yelling "banky"(blanket) even though he had it with him. It started raining at about 1:00 a.m. and didn't let up until about 6:00 a.m. When we opened the tent up to get out there were puddles of water and mud...it was all mush. It was still sprinkling. Anyway, no way we were going to hang around in that. Gavin and Tanner would have been face down in the mud within 2 minutes after letting them out of the tent. So, we hurried and packed up, came home, and cooked our cowboy breakfast that i was going to cook there, here. We had lots of fun.

Gavin enjoyed burning the end of his stick and watching it smoke.

Our camp site. The bathroom was just a few feet away from us, which was nice!
We are in the process of scraping our garage, which is why it looks so bad right now. As soon as the sun decides to hang around for longer than a day then we will paint the garage! :)
The mulch my dad and I laid down. It looks so much nicer.
Some flowers that are blooming in our backyard.
All the leaves finally came in and now we have privacy once again in our backyard. :)
Another plant i put in my backyard.
Punderson State Park
I made two of these and hung them up on the outside of the garage.
Some flowers i planted.

I have to add something on here about the Cavaliers!! GO CAVS!!! Cleveland Fans are the best fans in the world. And by far, the LOUDEST fans out of the NBA! Talk about LOUD and PROUD!! I am so excited about the Cav's and hope they win the seventh game against the Celtics! Go Cav's, we believe in you! We are all WITNESSES!!! :)

Riding the turtle! :)
On Papa's shoulders
Gavin had just completely biffed it. He was out of control running down the hill with the stroller..he fell the the stroller fell on top of him. Luckily for us it takes a lot for him to actually cry when he gets hurt. :)

Well, Saturday night we went to the Cav's game....and it was AWESOME!!! I wish we could afford season tickets! The fans are the best fans i have ever seen! I love it! It was surreal. It didn't feel like we were actually there! It was awesome and the fans are crazy nuts!!! I felt bad for the few people that wore Boston Shirts! They got made fun of the whole time. It was funny, but kind of mean what the fans would do to the Celtic fans. It was sooooo cool being there. Unfortunately i didn't bring my camera.
Here are a few pics i captured while zsa zsa and papa were here. They left Saturday night after the basketball game. It was sad to see them go because we had so much fun together. The next time we will see my parents will be July in Tennessee at the airport where we will all head to the Riviera Maya(did i mention that we will have no kids with us!?).

Zsa Zsa and Papa's visit...

Put-In-Bay Island
Here we are over 300 feet off the ground. There was a monument for the Battle of Lake Erie...the war of 1812 i think...? Don't know my history too well. We took the elevator up to the top. It had an amazing view. We could see Canada from up there. :) There are 26 islands in that area!!!

Watching the movie Enchanted.
At the Indians Baseball game. Seagulls were always flying around above us;it kept the boys pretty entertained.
Riding around the Island on the golf carts...it was a blast. :)
A restaurant on Put-In-Bay Island.
Picture from the Butterfly Exhibit on Put-In-Bay Island.

Zsa Zsa and Papa have been here since Friday. They are heading home on Sunday morning. We have been having tons of fun together and staying busy everyday. One evening we went to Outback Steakhouse so that Holly could serve us our dinner since she had to work. :) We went to an Indians game. It was sooooo much fun. The boys loved it. We went to Put-In-Bay Island which is a little over an hour away. We took a ferry to the Island and then we rented a golf cart and rode it all around the island. It was an absolute blast. We loved it. We ate there, went to a butterfly exhibit and the boys loved watching the butterflies! On another day we went to the Science museum and the upper level is just perfect for kids. The boys LOVED it...Us adults even liked it a lot. Then after that we went to Hard Rock Cafe to eat. It is always fun eating there and delicious. Then, lucky for me:), Holly and I and my mom went shopping for clothes. That is always the best part of vacation for me. :) Tonight we are having an adult night out; Dinner and a movie. Tomorrow morning i have a photoshoot(woohoo, i can't wait!). Saturday i have another photoshoot(yeah!) and then we are having another adult night out;we are going to the Cavalier's Basketball game vs. the Boston Celtics!!! Boy, we cannot wait for that! :) Anyway, i have so many more pics to post. I will probably do it on Sunday evening b/c i am not getting enough time to post like i usually do. :) We've been having tons of fun. :)
