{Two great quotes}

I have been pondering a few things over the past 24 hours and felt like putting these quotes up b/c i think they are good. A friend of mine from cleveland, now living elsewhere, put this quote on her blog and when i read it i thought it was totally awesome and now i love the quote! She said she thinks this quote should be put on billboards across the nation. I agree. I have been meaning to put this quote up for awhile, and then forgot about it, and then just remembered! haha! Anyway, enjoy...
THE BOTTOM LINE
Keith Kennedy @ 1985

FACE it...Nobody owes you a living.
What you achieve or fail to achieve in your lifetime is
directly related to what you do or fail to do.
No one chooses his parents or childhood
But you can choose your own direction!
Everyone has problems and obstacles to overcome
But that too is relative to each individual.
NOTHING IS CARVED IN STONE...you can change
anything in your life if you want to badly enough.
EXCUSES ARE FOR LOSERS. Those who take responsibility for
their actions are the real winners in life.
Winners meet life's challenges head on, knowing there are
no guarantees and give it all they've got.
It's never too late or too early to begin.
Time plays no favorites and will pass whether you
act or not.
Take control of YOUR life.
Dare to dream and take risks...
If you aren't willing to work for your goals, don't expect others to.
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!
I have another friend from cleveland, now living elsewhere, who keeps this quote on her blog. I really like this quote too and want to share it...
Our Deepest Fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we uncounsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." (Marianne Wiliamson, A Return to Love: Relections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles", Harper Collins, 1992.)
