{The Curious Case of Gavin Jenks}

Today Gavin was playing with his car and i kept hearing him say the word "Polyphenol" over and over. I am thinking "where did he hear that word from?!" So i asked him, "Where did you hear the word polyphenol from?" He said, "That man on the t.v. said it and so i am trying to learn it." He is talking about the grape juice commercial and in it the man tries to teach us about polyphenol antioxidants that are in grape juice. I thought that was so interesting that he remembered THAT word and that he said he is TRYING to learn it. hehe.

The other day i told Gavin that he was going to go to the Doctors for a check up. He said, "I am going to the Doctor? Am i pregnant?!" haha. I started cracking up. The only Doctor's he knows of recently are the OB-GYN doctors so he thought he was pregnant. He is so funny.

Today at the Pediatrician's Gavin was acting up and so i put him in the chair that the Doctor had just sat in. We were waiting for a nurse to come back in and check Gavin's eyes. Anyway, i sat him there and he goes, "But mom i can't sit here, they will come in and be like, 'Why are you sitting there? You aren't the Doctor'!" :)

If Gavin lies and he we catch him in a lie and he knows he is about to get in trouble for it he will say, "But i was just kidding." Nice.

Right now he is playing with his cars and he is playing grandpa and daddy and himself and he is saying "Grandpa turned into daddy(Gavin pretending to be Daddy)....Grandpa turned into daddy?(Gavin) But that is impossible!(Gavin)" Then a minute ago he was saying "Can i do it daddy?(Gavin)....Well, when you get bigger like me then you can(Gavin pretending to be Shane)....When i get big like you? BUT I NEVER GROW!(Gavin)"
